SİLİFKE APPLIED TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT HİGH SCHOOL
General Information
Applied Technology and Management School of Silifke was founded
with two departments as “Business Information Management” and
“Computer Technology and Information Systems” with the cabinet
decision that was proclaimed in the 30th September, 2006 dated and
numbered 26305 Official Gazette. It started to offer education in 2007-
2008 Academic Year. In addition, in 2017 Department of Organic
Agricultural Management was founded as well. Neither Department
of Computer Technology and Information Systems nor Department
of Organic Agricultural Management has accepted students yet.
The name of the Business Information Department was changed as
“Management Information Systems” in 2020-2021 Academic Year.
The study period is 5 years including the English language learning
preparatory class. However, the preparatory class is an elective class.
At the end of the education period the students get a bachelor’s
degree. Besides, Department of Organic Agricultural Management
has accepted master’s students since 2019-2020 Academic Year.
Applied Technology and Management School of Silifke still
continues its activities with Mersin University Silifke Vocational
School in a building located 7 km away from the town center. The
total area of our building is 4,500 m2. The school continues its
education on the 3rd and 4th floors of the building, having a total
area of 2.000 m2. There are a 100-person cafeteria and a library
which are used by the students of both schools. There is an office
area of 292 m2, of which 227 m2 is equipped and in use.
A total of 8 academic staff, including 2 professors, 1 associate
professor, 4 doctor lecturers, and 1 lecturer, and 2 administrative
staff work in the school.
