Our faculty integrates its students, graduates, employees and
society with lifelong learning with the education it will provide
at national and international level, using its knowledge and
experience for the benefit of all humanity, through its highquality
academic programs, has a vision of quality-oriented,
sensitive to social values, unimpeded and internationally
recognized. It started education in 2019-2020 with its young and
contemporary academic staff, who have a good command of the
field, have grasped the contemporary possibilities and situations,
are aware of young psychology, and have pedagogical formation.
A four-year education program is implemented in our faculty
and there is not a prep-class. In addition, the teaching system of
the future, which teaches the lesson in the lesson and offers the
opportunity to evaluate in the process, not just an exam indexed,
is applied with the interactive teaching system that provides
active participation of the student and focused on learning the
subject.
The goals of our faculty program;
• To train academicians, researchers, teachers and religious
officials who have acquired professional knowledge and
skills with scientific and original thinking ability.
• To raise people who are devoted to national, spiritual,
universal moral values and cultural heritage and respect
different values and beliefs by teaching religion from its
basic sources.

Physical Facilities
The physical structuring of the Mersin University Faculty of
Islamic Sciences is in the 141.8 m² closed area of the building
belonging to the Faculty of Tourism and education and training
continues.
With 3 classrooms and 1 library in our faculty, there are
computers, projectors etc. in our classrooms. continues education
with electronic support.
Academic and Administrative Staff Information
We have a total of 13 Personnel Office Areas, 7 Academic Offices
and 6 Administrative Offices, including the land situation and
the closed areas that we operate.

the Incoming Appointment Class and works as the Faculty
Secretary in our Faculty.
