important opportunities in areas that will support performanceoriented
applications. Established with the support of the University,
Nevit Kodallı Chamber Music Research Center, the hall, has one of
the best acoustics in Turkey. Students gain orchestra experience by
actively participating in the Conservatory Student Orchestra and
Academic Orchestra. As a result of these experiences, the students
audition for the Turkey Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and Doğuş
Children Orchestra and achieve high success rates. These rates
pave the way for them to take part in concerts. Students regularly
participate in the auditions of İzmir, Eskişehir and İstanbul
Symphony orchestras as part of their soloist works and they give
concerts in big orchestras and important halls every year. Our
students gain experience in this field through national competitions
organized by our conservatory. These studies are also a major
factor in students’ achieving significant success by participating in
national and international prestigious competitions. Students have
a number of degrees, including first place in major international
competitions such as Anton Henryk Wieniawski, Tchaikovsky,
Rubinstein, Grumiaux. With this perspective, it is aimed for our
students to gain experience in the field of chamber music in national
competitions and concerts. They have the opportunity to work with
important artists in their fields in master classes held every year.
In addition, the Erasmus student exchange program focuses on the
most efficient use of the program by the conservatory students, thus
the agreements with the targeted schools are constantly renewed by
considering the different needs for each art branch accordingly.
The works produced by the Composition Department academic
staff are recorded under different projects. The CD recording
project, which includes works by Turkish Composers, is among the
artistic productions of our conservatory. Archiving and performing
original works of art with this method is among the pioneering
