Academic Staff Information:<br />

The Department of Sculpture consists of 2 professors, 2 associate<br />

professors, 1 doctor lecturer, 1 lecturer and 2 research assistants.<br />

Opportunities for Students:<br />

Sculpture Department; It has six large workshops (Stone, Metal,<br />

Wood, Modeling) equipped with equipment that can respond<br />

to traditional and contemporary art applications, as well as a<br />

Computer Laboratory where the 3D program is taught, Basic Art,<br />

Artistic Anatomy, Free Materials and Photography Workshop. In<br />

addition, students; They can gain new experiences and improve<br />

themselves with national-international exchange programs such<br />

as Bologna, Erasmus, Farabi and Mevlana.<br />

Post- Graduate Study Opportunities:<br />

Graduate courses consist of courses where students can analyze<br />

and increase their critical skills. Graduate students benefit from<br />

the Sculpture Department’s existing facilities, and there is a<br />

student room with a computer for their research and reading.<br />

DEPARTMENT OF GRAPHIC ARTS<br />

General Information:<br />

Our Faculty Department of Graphics was established in 1992 and<br />

the undergraduate program started in 1994-1995 academic year<br />

with a student quota of 20. Candidates must have a high school<br />

or equivalent school diploma. Candidates who have obtained<br />

sufficient base points from the <strong>University</strong> Student Selection<br />

Exam are admitted to the special talent exam. There are 3<br />

graphic workshops, 1 computer workshop, 1 photography studio<br />

belonging to the department. In addition, 1 print workshop, 1<br />

pattern workshop and 3 classrooms are also used by our faculty’s<br />

departments.<br />

The aim of the department is to “train designers who<br />

can produce creative and original solutions to visual<br />

communication problems”. Course contents were prepared<br />

in line with this goal; New courses with content according<br />

to the developing and changing conditions of the day have<br />

been included in the program.Students must successfully<br />
