program. The workshops are for twenty people each, with eleven<br />
students per academic staff. Panels, seminars, conferences are<br />
given by experts in their fields, exhibitions and similar events are<br />
organized to support the program throughout the year.<br />
Graduates; freelance artists, painters in private and public<br />
institutions, art consultants, academic staff in education and<br />
research institutions related to fine arts, art classes officer at<br />
universities, and those who receive education certificates have the<br />
opportunity to work as art educators in educational institutions<br />
affiliated with the Ministry of Education.<br />
Post- Graduate Study Opportunities:<br />
Graduate courses consist of courses where students can analyze<br />
and increase their critical skills. Graduate students benefit from<br />
the facilities of the Painting Department, and there is a student<br />
room with a computer for their research and reading.<br />
DEPARTMENT OF SCULPTURE<br />
General Information:<br />
The Sculpture Department of our Faculty was established in<br />
accordance with the law numbered 3837, dated 03 July 1992.<br />
The Master’s program in the academic year of 1993-1994, the<br />
undergraduate program in the academic year of 1994-1995, and<br />
the Proficiency in Art Program in the academic year of 2015-2016<br />
started its activities by taking its first students. 61 students in the<br />
Sculpture Department undergraduate program, 12 students in the<br />
Master’s program and 1 student in the Proficiency in Art program<br />
continue their education.<br />
The aim of the education in the Department of Sculpture is to<br />
provide all the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to the<br />
artist candidates who are interested in the art of sculpture. In this<br />
process, it is aimed to create an original art language in line with<br />
the student’s ability and creative personality. Students, who have<br />
the opportunity to learn and apply traditional and contemporary<br />
materials during their four-year education, prepare to become<br />
competent artists of the cultural and artistic life of our country by<br />
making designs with the art language they have acquired.<br />
