Marketing and Advertising
Marketing (Primary Education-Evening Education)
Mersin University Mersin Vocational School has started to admit
students to the Marketing program since 1992. Since 06.05.2005,
the Marketing Program continues its activities within the Social
Sciences Vocational School. The aim of the program is to train
the Marketing Professionals they need in the fields like marketing,
communication, advertising, sales, research, etc. primarily
in the regional area and then at the country level operating
businesses, who are open to development and learning, with
consumer-oriented thinking skills. Our graduates, as a result of
the widespread use of supermarkets in these establishments, are
employed in the fields of store marketing manager, product group
manager, customer relations officer, shelf and store arrangement
etc. In the service sector; They especially take an active role in
marketing of insurance services. With the importance of one-toone
marketing, they work as personal salespeople in businesses
operating in this field. They can work in advertising and promotion
companies, marketing research institutions, and in the marketing
departments of businesses. Our graduates can continue their
4-year undergraduate education related to their field as a result of
the Vertical Transfer Exam they will take after 2 years of associate
degree education.
Management and Organization
Business Management (Daytime Education and Evening Education)
The aim of the program, regarding business life, is to train
companies, public institutions, universities, non-governmental
organizations and other similar organizations, or to train suitably
qualified Business Management Professional Staff who can
open and run businesses on their behalf. Business Management
Program is a four semi-annual higher education program. The goal
of the program is that the courses that have the qualifications to
meet the professional competence criteria are determined in four

Logistics (Day Education - Evening Education)
The aim of the program is to provide the expert intermediate
elements required by the sector to the service of the sector. As well
as logistics transportation, many services such as storage, foreign
trade, customs, packaging, distribution require an integrated and
coordinated implementation, it enables the training of logistics
personnel in accordance with scientific developments. The
Logistics Program is a four-semester higher education program.
The aim of the program is that the courses that have the
qualifications to meet the professional competence criteria are
determined in four semesters. In line with the demands from
external and internal stakeholders, necessary changes are made in
the curriculum from time to time.

Social Services and Consultancy
Social Services (Primary Education-Evening Education)
Social Services program has received its first students in the 2018-
2019 academic year. Social Services Associate Degree Program
provides the opportunity to specialize in their fields for those
who want to develop solutions to social problems and provide
services to individuals who experience social problems in various
dimensions. It aims to provide the development of individuals
who want to specialize in the field in theory and practice and
are sensitive to social problems in educational terms. Individuals
who receive social work training work as intermediate staff with
organizational, planning, implementing, effective communication
and leadership qualities in rural and urban areas, public, private
sector and non-governmental organizations. These intermediate
staff assist individuals with their professional knowledge and
