Department Facilities:<br />
In the section; The equipment specified in Table 1 below is available<br />
to provide training in weaving, printing and fashion design. In<br />
addition to these, in the education process, there are classrooms,<br />
basic art workshop, photography workshop, etc. facilities are also<br />
used.<br />
Department students have to do 2 internships for 20 days during<br />
their education. Thus, they get the opportunity to get to know the<br />
textile industry and prepare for business life, and gain experience in<br />
the business environment in the field of study (weaving, printing,<br />
fashion design) that they will determine. By taking advantage<br />
of Erasmus, Farabi and Mevlana exchange programs, they can<br />
gain experience abroad, do internship abroad, and benefit from<br />
the educational opportunities of different universities. Students,<br />
national and international exhibitions, competitions, workshops,<br />
seminars, etc. Their participation in events, technical trips are<br />
organized and their professional and personal development is<br />
supported by actively participating in cooperation projects with<br />
external stakeholders.<br />
Academic Staff Information:<br />
1 associate professor, 2 doctor lecturers and 3 lecturers work in the<br />
Textile Department.<br />
Education Plan:<br />
During the four-year undergraduate education, students; will<br />
improve their design culture and skills, facilitate their adaptation<br />
to the digital age, teach textile technology and production<br />
processes, develop their creative thinking skills, enable them to<br />
absorb the culture of sustainability and innovation as required<br />
by the age, improve their foreign language competencies, teach<br />
original design development practically, weaving, printing and<br />
They go through an education program that includes courses on<br />
clothing design. In addition, in order for our students to graduate,<br />
they are required to complete 2 internships of 20 days during their<br />
education.<br />
The education program is constantly updated with the<br />
contributions of internal and external stakeholders in order to be<br />
accredited with similar national and international departments<br />
and to keep up with the development of the textile industry. There<br />
is no postgraduate education in our department yet.<br />
DEPARTMENT OF CERAMIC<br />
General Information:<br />
This program, which started education in the 2000-2001<br />
academic year, aims to raise original designers with high<br />
aesthetic and technical qualities, bringing the cultural and<br />
artistic accumulations of the past to the present, bringing artistic<br />
creativity and personality to the fore with a contemporary<br />
understanding.<br />
During the four-year undergraduate education, students; It<br />
is aimed to gain knowledge and skills in subjects such as Basic<br />
Art Education, Pattern, Free Forming, Casting, Plaster-Mold,<br />
Decoration, Glazing, Firing, Technology Laboratory, Turning<br />
Techniques, Production-Business Accounts, including artistic,<br />
technological and industrial studies.<br />
Academic Staff Information:<br />
Ceramic Department consists of 1 associate professor, 3 lecturers<br />
and 2 research assistants.<br />
Opportunities for Students:<br />
Working opportunities as artistic or industrial hand and lathe<br />
products in gypsum-mold casting units, private and corporate<br />
ceramic workshops and enterprises, ceramic designer in interior<br />
and exterior architectural wall applications, academic staff in<br />
education and research institutions related to Fine Arts, as an<br />
art consultant in private and public institutions they have.<br />
