Physical Structure
Our Faculty, located in Mersin University Çiftlikköy Main
Campus, has a completed indoor area of 25.603 m2 in total. In
our faculty, there is one Administrative Block which consists of
1473 m2, two classroom blocks which consist of 6530 m2 and
four department blocks, each consisting of 4400 m2 and research
and application laboratories. In these areas; 28 undergraduate
classrooms are consisting of 6681 m2, 3 postgraduate
classrooms, 5 computer laboratories, 76 research laboratories.
There are application laboratories and workshops in C, D, E, and
F Blocks, each consisting of 48 administrative offices. Besides,
double major and minor programs are implemented among the
departments of our Faculty.
Academic and Administrative Staff Information
As of 2020, our faculty has 111 academic staff. 1 Associate
Professor, 2 Assistant Professor, and 1 Instructor work in our
Faculty according to Article 13 / b-4 of the law numbered 2547.
One of the Assistant Professor of our Faculty works in the Faculty
of Education and 1 Instructor works in Foreign Relations. The
number of academic staff working in our faculty is 108.
There is 34 administrative personnel in our faculty, 12 of which
are General Administrative Services, 13 of which are Technical
Services and 9 of them are Permanent Workers. According to
Article 13 / b-4 of the Law No. 2547, 6 staff members are in our
faculty and are assigned to other units, 15 staff members are
in other units and are employed in our faculty. The number of
administrative staff working in our faculty is 43.
