Department Facilities: In the section; The equipment specified in Table 1 below is available to provide training in weaving, printing and fashion design. In addition to these, in the education process, there are classrooms, basic art workshop, photography workshop, etc. facilities are also used. Department students have to do 2 internships for 20 days during their education. Thus, they get the opportunity to get to know the textile industry and prepare for business life, and gain experience in the business environment in the field of study (weaving, printing, fashion design) that they will determine. By taking advantage of Erasmus, Farabi and Mevlana exchange programs, they can gain experience abroad, do internship abroad, and benefit from the educational opportunities of different universities. Students, national and international exhibitions, competitions, workshops, seminars, etc. Their participation in events, technical trips are organized and their professional and personal development is supported by actively participating in cooperation projects with external stakeholders. Academic Staff Information: 1 associate professor, 2 doctor lecturers and 3 lecturers work in the Textile Department. Education Plan: During the four-year undergraduate education, students; will improve their design culture and skills, facilitate their adaptation to the digital age, teach textile technology and production processes, develop their creative thinking skills, enable them to absorb the culture of sustainability and innovation as required by the age, improve their foreign language competencies, teach original design development practically, weaving, printing and They go through an education program that includes courses on clothing design. In addition, in order for our students to graduate, they are required to complete 2 internships of 20 days during their education. The education program is constantly updated with the contributions of internal and external stakeholders in order to be accredited with similar national and international departments and to keep up with the development of the textile industry. There is no postgraduate education in our department yet. DEPARTMENT OF CERAMIC General Information: This program, which started education in the 2000-2001 academic year, aims to raise original designers with high aesthetic and technical qualities, bringing the cultural and artistic accumulations of the past to the present, bringing artistic creativity and personality to the fore with a contemporary understanding. During the four-year undergraduate education, students; It is aimed to gain knowledge and skills in subjects such as Basic Art Education, Pattern, Free Forming, Casting, Plaster-Mold, Decoration, Glazing, Firing, Technology Laboratory, Turning Techniques, Production-Business Accounts, including artistic, technological and industrial studies. Academic Staff Information: Ceramic Department consists of 1 associate professor, 3 lecturers and 2 research assistants.
