General Information
Mersin University Faculty of Architecture was established in 1999 as a faculty consisting of three departments:
Department of Architecture, Department of City and Regional Planning, and Department of Industrial Design.
Department of Architecture first started its education in the academic year 2001-2002, and at the end of the
academic year 2018-2019, it had its fourteenth term graduates. Department of City and Regional Planning
admitted its first undergraduate students in 2011-2012 and started its first-grade undergraduate education in
2012-2013. As for the third department of our faculty, the Department of Industrial Product Design, education at
the undergraduate level is aimed to be inaugurated after the academic staff of the department is assembled.
