Exams, Measurement and Evaluation
VOCATIONAL SCHOOL OF TECHNICAL SCIENCES
Students are subjected to midterm exam, mid-term study (project,
seminar, quiz, homework or a second midterm) and final exam for
each course. There is a contribution of 40% of midterm exams, if
any, of mid-term studies and 60% of the final exam to the success
grade. All exams are evaluated with an absolute grade over 100
points. There is a requirement to get at least 50 points from the
final exam. Final grades are translated into letter notes in the
relative grading system. Students who get one of the letter grades
(AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC) from a course are considered
successful in that course. At the end of each semester, students can
take a make-up exam from the courses they failed that semester.
Graduation Requirements
Students who successfully complete all of the courses available in
the program (equivalent to a total of 120 ECTS), obtaining a grade
point average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 and completing 40 working
days of professional internship, are awarded an associate degree in
