Bachelor of Musical Education
The Bachelor of Music Education is a degree designed for students who wish to pursue a
course of study leading to teaching certification at the K-12 levels upon successful
completion of all requirements, and it is also a gateway to careers in related professions
in church music leadership and similar positions centered on musical instruction. In
addition to the core subjects in music, education, educational psychology, and required
liberal-arts skills in the Explorations Curriculum, students choose one of two tracks of
