There is hope because you belong <strong>to</strong> a God who<br />

could not leave you <strong>to</strong> suffer disease <strong>and</strong> sickness<br />

<strong>and</strong> sent His own beloved Son <strong>to</strong> bear all <strong>your</strong> pains<br />

<strong>and</strong> <strong>your</strong> sicknesses upon His own body.<br />

There is hope because you belong <strong>to</strong> a God who<br />

has given you a practical <strong>way</strong> <strong>by</strong> which you can have<br />

access <strong>to</strong> His healing power any time. You can come<br />

<strong>to</strong> Him freely. There are no religious hoops <strong>to</strong> jump<br />

through, no qualifications you have <strong>to</strong> meet. He has<br />

already qualified you, <strong>and</strong> the only thing you need <strong>to</strong><br />

do is <strong>to</strong> respond <strong>to</strong> His invitation when He <strong>to</strong>ok the<br />

bread <strong>and</strong> said, “Take, <strong>eat</strong>; this is My body,” when<br />

He <strong>to</strong>ok the cup <strong>and</strong> said, “Drink from it, all of you”<br />

(Matt. 26:26–27).<br />

I pray that you have caught a revelation of what<br />

<strong>to</strong> <strong>eat</strong> <strong>to</strong> live a <strong>life</strong> that is brimming with vitality <strong>and</strong><br />

have a body that is filled with divine <strong>health</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />

strength. In this <strong>and</strong> the next chapter, I want <strong>to</strong> share<br />

with you about how <strong>to</strong> <strong>eat</strong> of the Lord’s Supper for<br />

<strong>life</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>health</strong>. It might seem strange <strong>to</strong> you that I<br />

would want <strong>to</strong> write about how <strong>to</strong> partake of the holy<br />

Communion. Isn’t it just about <strong>eat</strong>ing (chewing <strong>and</strong><br />

swallowing) <strong>and</strong> drinking, which aren’t exactly skills<br />

that need <strong>to</strong> be taught? My friend, partaking of the<br />

Communion does involve <strong>eat</strong>ing <strong>and</strong> drinking. But it
