ends with this:<br />

But I have trusted in Your mercy;<br />

My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.<br />

I will sing <strong>to</strong> the LORD,<br />

Because He has dealt bountifully with me.<br />

(Ps. 13:5–6)<br />

But.<br />

One little word that makes all the difference.<br />

It may feel like hopelessness might overcome<br />

you, but don’t give up. In the original Hebrew, the<br />

word the psalmist David used for mercy is hesed<br />

(grace), while the word used for salvation is yeshua.<br />

Keep trusting in His grace. Keep <strong>your</strong> eyes on <strong>your</strong><br />

Yeshua, <strong>your</strong> Jesus. Your salvation—welfare,<br />

deliverance, <strong>and</strong> vic<strong>to</strong>ry—is found in Him!<br />

As you talk <strong>to</strong> the Lord <strong>and</strong> spend time in His<br />

presence, you will find He does not give you the<br />

answer; He is the answer. Even when <strong>your</strong> outward<br />

circumstances do not seem <strong>to</strong> change, you will find<br />

that you have changed. Look at what happened <strong>to</strong><br />

David as he cried out <strong>to</strong> God in Psalm 3:
