WE ALL GO THROUGH VALLEYS
Abram was in a valley immediately after he had
secured a great victory. You might be fresh from a
victory—maybe you exceeded all your sales targets
or you just experienced a breakthrough—but very
quickly you can find yourself in a valley. This is why
we cannot put our confidence in temporal things.
Everyone, no matter what successes they have
enjoyed, is susceptible to times of darkness in their
lives.
In the same way, just because I am a pastor and I
teach on the Communion, it does not mean that I am
not confronted with challenges. I know the same is
true for other pastors as well, so if you can, please
keep your pastors and leaders in prayer—you don’t
know what they might be going through.
