As his parents, there is no way we can keep him in a cocoon and protect him twenty-four hours a day, but we saw how the Lord Himself protected Justin and saved him from sustaining injuries that could have been much more devastating.
In the same way, I want you to know the Lord watches over you and your loved ones. Because He neither slumbers nor sleeps (Ps. 121:4–5 NIV), you can rest in the assurance that even while you sleep, He works the night shift. He will deliver you and keep you from falling (Ps. 56:13). All the devices of the enemy will be confounded, and even if a weapon has been formed against you, it shall not prosper! THE LORD WATCHES OVER YOU. EVEN WHILE YOU SLEEP, HE WORKS THE NIGHT SHIFT.
