how the blood of the Passover lamb that the
Israelites applied on the doorposts and lintel covered
the whole family (children and all) inside the house.
My friend, God wants you to be at rest, knowing
without a doubt that His finished work and healing
and protection promises cover your children too (Ps.
91:10).
May I show you one more thing? I want you to
see God’s heart regarding children. In the gospel of
Luke, when some parents “brought infants to Him
that He might touch them,” His disciples saw what
the parents were doing and promptly rebuked them
(Luke 18:15). Our Lord Jesus stopped His disciples,
then “called [the children] to Him” and said, “Let the
little children come to Me, and do not forbid them;
for of such is the kingdom of God” (Luke 18:16).
Isn’t that beautiful?
A wonderful way to bring your young children to
Jesus is to bring them to the Lord’s Table—as often
as you partake of the Communion. They don’t have
to be sick to join you in partaking of the
Communion. If they were, it would be awesome if
they could partake of the Communion with you too.
You can keep it simple and personal and tell
them, “Do you know how much Daddy (or Mommy)
