how the blood of the Passover lamb that the<br />

Israelites applied on the doorposts <strong>and</strong> lintel covered<br />

the whole family (children <strong>and</strong> all) inside the house.<br />

My friend, God wants you <strong>to</strong> be at rest, knowing<br />

without a doubt that His finished work <strong>and</strong> healing<br />

<strong>and</strong> protection promises cover <strong>your</strong> children <strong>to</strong>o (Ps.<br />

91:10).<br />

May I show you one more thing? I want you <strong>to</strong><br />

see God’s heart regarding children. In the gospel of<br />

Luke, when some parents “brought infants <strong>to</strong> Him<br />

that He might <strong>to</strong>uch them,” His disciples saw what<br />

the parents were doing <strong>and</strong> promptly rebuked them<br />

(Luke 18:15). Our Lord Jesus s<strong>to</strong>pped His disciples,<br />

then “called [the children] <strong>to</strong> Him” <strong>and</strong> said, “Let the<br />

little children come <strong>to</strong> Me, <strong>and</strong> do not forbid them;<br />

for of such is the kingdom of God” (Luke 18:16).<br />

Isn’t that beautiful?<br />

A wonderful <strong>way</strong> <strong>to</strong> bring <strong>your</strong> young children <strong>to</strong><br />

Jesus is <strong>to</strong> bring them <strong>to</strong> the Lord’s Table—as often<br />

as you partake of the Communion. They don’t have<br />

<strong>to</strong> be sick <strong>to</strong> join you in partaking of the<br />

Communion. If they were, it would be awesome if<br />

they could partake of the Communion with you <strong>to</strong>o.<br />

You can keep it simple <strong>and</strong> personal <strong>and</strong> tell<br />

them, “Do you know how much Daddy (or Mommy)
