If you want to make any progress, you have to be disciplined enough and
follow through on all the tenets of the diet. But if you take one too many “cheat days,” there will be minimal or no results. The point is, the results of any diet are entirely dependent on you. Whether your diet works or not is dependent on fallen creation—on your discipline, your willpower, and your ability to maintain and keep the rules. When it comes to the holy Communion, it has nothing to do with what you need to do, and everything to do with having a revelation of what was done for you. Whenever you read the Bible, remember it’s not just a historical text or a record of the life of our Lord Jesus. The Bible documents His love for you! I pray that the Holy Spirit has given you eyes to see that all Jesus endured was for you. You and your wholeness were the joy that was set before Him. Every sacrifice He made was for you.
