YOU TOUCH HEALING. You don’t have to seek after healing, provision, and protection. When you have Jesus, you have all you need. If there is an area of death in your body, the Lord says to you, “I am the resurrection and the life” (John 11:25). If doctors have told you that you will die young, the Lord says to you, “I am your life and the length of your days” (Deut. 30:20). If you have received a negative diagnosis and are fearful, the Lord says to you, “Do not be afraid. I am your shield” (Gen. 15:1). If you have been dealing with relapse after relapse and the discouragement is overwhelming you, the Lord declares to you, “I am your strength and your song” (Ex. 15:2)! LIVE LOVED BY THE SHEPHERD Whatever you are facing in your life, you don’t have to run around trying to meet all your needs. You just need to seek Jesus Himself. When you have the
person of Jesus, you have all the benefits that come with the person. Here is one particular aspect of the Lord that I want to draw your attention to. Throughout the Bible, we see pictures of God. We see Him personified as our fortress, our stronghold, and our tower. But of all the pictures used throughout both the Old and New Testaments, one of the most frequently used is of God as our Shepherd. WHEN YOU HAVE JESUS, YOU HAVE ALL YOU NEED. And many times we see the imagery of the shepherd and sheep used in the context of healing.
