6:15). Even though God had sworn to bless him and
make him a great nation (Gen. 12:2), there was a
fight of faith involved. The blessing did not manifest
the next day. It did not manifest even in the next
year. In fact, it took about twenty-five years before
Abraham and Sarah had Isaac (Gen. 21:5). I am not
saying you have to wait twenty-five years. The
principle I want you to see here is that it might take
some time, but you will inherit your promise.
Your healing might not be immediate, but
believe that it is on its way. If you have been waiting
for a while now for your healing and you are feeling
discouraged, let God’s promise strengthen you:
“For as the rain comes down, and the snow
from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
So shall My word be that goes forth from
My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
