The elders told the children about all the
judgments against Egypt their forefathers had
witnessed, from the frogs that came up from every
river, pond, and stream to cover the land of Egypt, to
the dust that became lice and infested the Egyptians,
and the clouds of locusts that ravaged the land,
devouring all its crops. You can imagine the gasps of
wonder and looks of utter amazement on the
children’s faces as they heard of the Lord’s rescue
plan to deliver His people when Pharaoh repeatedly
refused to free them (Ex. 7—11).
