I love it when God pours out the gifts of the Holy
Spirit. When He pours, He doesn’t pour from a jar or
even a barrel. It feels like all of heaven is being
poured out on us, and no matter how big our
auditorium is and how many other service venues we
have, we still cannot contain all the good God has
for us.
There is something powerful about being in
church when the name of our Lord Jesus is lifted up.
There is a corporate anointing at work when the
church gathers together because Jesus said, “For
where two or three are gathered together in My
name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matt. 18:20).
Where Jesus is, death turns into life and
resurrection, weakness becomes strength, little
becomes much, and in the presence of the Lord is
fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore (Ps.
16:11). In His presence, you will experience
resurrection and life (John 11:25). That’s why the
Bible tells us not to forsake the assembling of
ourselves together (Heb. 10:25). When we gather,
He is in the midst of us.
