now after sunset to offer an
exciting voyage to the stars. “Take a
Look at the Stars” (E le stelle si
fanno guardare) is Costa
Edutainment’s latest proposal inside
the old cotton warehouses, the
Magazzini del Cotone, for children
age 6 to 9. They begin their
adventure at the Children’s City at
7:30 P.M. then head for a restaurant
that has prepared a special
“Galactic” pizza just for them. After
dinner they can participate in stellar
workshops and games like “Catch
the Stars” in the Starlab moving
planetarium. An astronomer will
accompany them, guaranteeing a
perfect scientific approach, and an
animator who portrays Galileo will
make the night even more fun. The
participants will learn all about the
path of the sun in the sky and the
main constellations of our
hemisphere. They will hear
anecdotes and curiosities, and can
even create their own
preferred constellation, with its
own mythological legend. At
11:00 P.M. the children pull out
their sleeping bags, pillows,
toothbrushes and other
necessities that they have
brought with them, and listen
to Galileo tell them a bed-time
story about the stars and the
planets.
The alarm wakes them up the
next morning at 8:00 A.M.
After breakfast the little
explorers will receive their own
star edutainment kit, as a
souvenir of their experience.
The first night camp was held
in the planetarium last month,
but “Take a Look at the Stars”
Galilei. I partecipanti potranno
così familiarizzare con il percorso
del sole nel cielo e con le
principali costellazioni del nostro
emisfero, ascolteranno aneddoti e
curiosità e potranno anche crearsi
la loro costellazione preferita, con
tanto di leggenda mitologica
annessa. Alle 23 si allestisce il
campo notte – ogni partecipante
deve portarsi sacco a pelo e
cuscino più il necessario per
l’igiene personale – mentre
Galileo racconterà una storia che
concilierà il sonno. Non una
favola, naturalmente, quelle sono
per i bambini piccoli!
La sveglia suonerà alle 8 in punto
e i piccoli esploratori delle stelle
potranno fare colazione e
riceveranno un kit edutainment
stellare a ricordo dell’esperienza.
Partito il mese scorso, il progetto
“E le stelle si fanno guardare” si
ripeterà il 10 settembre, il 31
ottobre, il 19 novembre e il 7
dicembre. Il costo è di 80 euro a
bambino e se ne ospitano al
massimo 25 per volta. La
prenotazione è quindi obbligatoria
presso Incoming Liguria al numero
+39 010 2345666.
will be held again on September 10,
October 31, November 19, and
December 7. The price is 80 euros
per child, and since numbers are
limited to 25 children a session,
places must be reserved by calling
