executives of three important industrial groups will be present at the Genoa International Boat Show: Giovanna<br />
Vitelli of Azimut-Benetti, Paola Cranchi of Cantiere Nautico Cranchi, and Raffaella Radice of Sessa Marine<br />
La parola d’ordine è: rispetto per l’ambiente. Anche<br />
fra le novità che verranno presentate al 51°<br />
Salone Nautico, alla Fiera di Genova dal 1 al 9 ottobre:<br />
2.000 barche da oltre 1.300 espositori, in 4 padiglioni<br />
e 2 grandi marine, per un totale di 300 mila<br />
metri quadri di esposizione fra terra e mare. Ce ne parlano<br />
in anteprima tre signore della nautica italiana.<br />
Perché la sensibilità ecologica, si sa, è uno dei temi cruciali<br />
di tutte le nuove produzioni. Nonché argomento<br />
particolarmente sentito dall’altra metà del cielo. E per<br />
sfatare una volta di più lo stereotipo che vede l’accoppiata<br />
donne & motori solo in chiave estetica e banale.<br />
La prima è Giovanna Vitelli, consigliere d’amministrazione<br />
e responsabile comunicazione del gruppo Azimut-Benetti,<br />
l’azienda fondata nel 1969 da suo padre<br />
Paolo Vitelli, che oggi è il più grande gruppo privato<br />
del settore nautico nel mondo, specializzato nella produzione<br />
di megayachts, con 138 sedi e 9 stabilimenti in<br />
11 paesi. Che ci svela la sua ricetta contro la crisi: «è<br />
proprio nei momenti difficili che è necessario saper trasferire<br />
efficacemente le caratteristiche che rendono un<br />
prodotto unico e desiderabile. Le nostre barche sono<br />
realizzate con cura maniacale e sono fatte per durare<br />
nel tempo». E aggiunge «la nostra azienda dedica da<br />
anni impegno e risorse alla sostenibilità ambientale,<br />
con un reparto apposito, Ricerca & Sviluppo, che studia<br />
le motorizzazioni ibride, che montiamo a richiesta<br />
su alcuni dei nostri modelli. Inoltre abbiamo un’intera<br />

production, a subject dear to women’s hearts, and because<br />
they wish to change the stereotype of women as an<br />
esthetic (and banal) accessory to motorized vehicles<br />
(including boats). Giovanna Vitelli, C.E.O. and head of<br />
communication at the group Azimut-Benetti, founded in<br />
1969 by her father, Paolo Vitelli. Today it is the world’s<br />
biggest private group in the nautical sector, specializing in<br />
