Breakfast at Escola do Pão is a lengthy business and is generally<br />

overseen by the owner, Clécia Casagran<strong>de</strong>, a baker who graduated at<br />

the École Lenôtre. From the cornmeal rolls to the cakes and treats<br />

such as yogurt shakes and sweetcorn pudding, everything is ma<strong>de</strong> on<br />

the premises. Fresh batches of some of the city's best artisan breads<br />

— such as the cornmeal rolls and milkbread — are baked daily.<br />

Escola do Pão<br />

Os cafés da manhã da Escola do Pão são longos percursos, em geral,<br />

conduzidos pela proprietária da casa, Clécia Casagran<strong>de</strong>, pa<strong>de</strong>ira<br />

formada pela École Lenôtre. Das broas aos bolinhos, passando por<br />

pequenas indulgências, como o shake <strong>de</strong> iogurte e o curau <strong>de</strong> milho,<br />

tudo é fabricado lá mesmo. As fornadas diárias garantem alguns dos<br />

melhores pães artesanais da cida<strong>de</strong>, como a broa <strong>de</strong> milho e o pão<br />

<strong>de</strong> leite.<br />
