Os Esquilos Restaurante<br />
TIJUCA<br />
Situado na Floresta da Tijuca, o restaurante tem um ambiente<br />
romântico, on<strong>de</strong> é possível curtir uma lareira nos dias frios ou o lindo<br />
jardim nos dias <strong>de</strong> sol. A casa colonial – originalmente proprieda<strong>de</strong><br />
do barão Gastão Luiz Henrique <strong>de</strong> Robert d'Escragnolle, responsável<br />
pelo reflorestamento dos morros, on<strong>de</strong> antes se produzia café<br />
– abriga o restaurante. Des<strong>de</strong> 1945, ele é comandado pela mesma<br />
família. À frente da cozinha estão a chef Ana Paula Busca e o marido,<br />
Luiz. Além da feijoada, servida aos sábados e domingos, outra boa<br />
sugestão é o frango com molho <strong>de</strong> maçãs cozidas.<br />
Situated in the Tijuca forest, the restaurant has a romantic<br />
atmosphere: here you can sit in front of the fire on cold days or in<br />
the beautiful gar<strong>de</strong>n when the sun's out. The restaurant is housed<br />
in an old colonial building, originally the property of Baron Gastão<br />
Luiz Henrique <strong>de</strong> Roberto d'Escragnolle, who was responsible for<br />
the reforestation of the hillsi<strong>de</strong>s, where coffee was once grown.<br />
Since 1945 it has been run by the Busca family. Today chef Ana Paula<br />
Busca and her husband Luiz are in charge of the kitchen. Besi<strong>de</strong>s the<br />
feijoada, served on Saturdays and Sundays, another dish not to be<br />
missed is the chicken with apple sauce..<br />
