Situado na Floresta da Tijuca, o restaurante tem um ambiente
romântico, onde é possível curtir uma lareira nos dias frios ou o lindo
jardim nos dias de sol. A casa colonial – originalmente propriedade
do barão Gastão Luiz Henrique de Robert d'Escragnolle, responsável
pelo reflorestamento dos morros, onde antes se produzia café
– abriga o restaurante. Desde 1945, ele é comandado pela mesma
família. À frente da cozinha estão a chef Ana Paula Busca e o marido,
Luiz. Além da feijoada, servida aos sábados e domingos, outra boa
sugestão é o frango com molho de maçãs cozidas.
Situated in the Tijuca forest, the restaurant has a romantic
atmosphere: here you can sit in front of the fire on cold days or in
the beautiful garden when the sun's out. The restaurant is housed
in an old colonial building, originally the property of Baron Gastão
Luiz Henrique de Roberto d'Escragnolle, who was responsible for
the reforestation of the hillsides, where coffee was once grown.
Since 1945 it has been run by the Busca family. Today chef Ana Paula
Busca and her husband Luiz are in charge of the kitchen. Besides the
feijoada, served on Saturdays and Sundays, another dish not to be
missed is the chicken with apple sauce..
