SANTA TERESA
Chef Natacha Fink brings to her cuisine the aromas and flavors
of her native Amazon. Menu favorites are large river fish, such as
tambaquí, namorado (sandperch) and filhote, served with forest
condiments and fruits (also essential ingredient in the caipirinhas!).
Portions are generous, but starters such as tambaquí steaks
coated with graviola (soursop) chutney and jambu (roe apple) pesto
are a must. The verandah to the rear of the restaurant offers
a breathtaking view of the hill of Santa Teresa and its luxuriant
vegetation.
