About Your Keypad<br />
SECTION 3<br />
This manual uses certain techniques to highlight the<br />
various keypad buttons, indicators and LCD in the<br />
written procedures. Each step also has a drawing to<br />
the right of the text that illustrates each procedure.<br />
The following examples demonstrate these<br />
methods:<br />
¥ Buttons are written in Bold letters. For example,<br />
the step might say<br />

Notice the word Select is in bold letters and<br />
also notice that the illustration for the button is<br />
shaded in the illustration to the right.<br />
¥ Indicators are written in italics. For example, the<br />
step might say<br />
The Keypad indicator should be lit.<br />
Notice the word Keypad is in italics and also<br />
notice that the indicator is shaded in the<br />
illustration.<br />
¥ Items appearing on the LCD are shown in<br />
quotes. For example, the step might say<br />
The LCD will show ÒSPEED 1800 RPMÓ.<br />
Notice the phrase ÒSPEED 1800 RPMÓ is in<br />
quotes and also notice that the LCD is shaded,<br />
in the illustration to the right.<br />
