Tips on Using Your Keypad
Keep the following points in mind when you use the keypad:
¥ If you press more than one button at a time, the drive will not
respond.
¥ In most cases, the keypad issues a command when you press
a button, and the command stays active when you release it.
When you press the button, hold it down for a moment before
you release it so the drive has time to respond to the
command.
¥ Two minutes after you issue the last command from the
keypad, the LCD will return to the OPERATE mode.
¥ If the Fault indicator comes on, refer to the Troubleshooting
Your Drive section for the procedure for displaying a fault
message on your LCD.
Operate, Scroll, and Change Settings Modes
The AF93/IS903 drive has three keypad conditions: OPERATE,
SCROLL, and CHANGE SETTINGS.
In the OPERATE mode, the LCD displays two Operation Display
Parameters showing current information on items such as Speed
and Load. Use the ÒUpper DisplayÓ and ÒLower DisplayÓ
parameters to select which Operation Display Parameters appear
during the OPERATE mode (see Section 4, Using the
Parameters, for more information).
In the SCROLL mode, the Up and Down buttons scroll through
the parameters displayed on the LCD.
In the CHANGE SETTINGS mode, the parameter values
described in Section 4, Using the Parameters, can be changed.
