in lower division nursing courses is accepted in<br />

transfer from an approved collegiate diploma<br />

program or associate degree program.<br />

Required nursing courses are: NUB 328, 335, 400,<br />

401, 450, and 10 credits in nursing electives or, upon<br />

approval, non-nursing electives. Individualized Plan of<br />

Study (IPOS) option available for NUB 401 and 450.<br />

Additional designated courses are required by<br />

nursing as part of the general education<br />

requirements. Whether transferred in or completed at<br />

<strong>Marian</strong> <strong>University</strong>, all BSN and RN-BSN students are<br />

required to successfully complete BUS or PSY 205;<br />

COM 101; ECN 200, 201 or 202; ENG 101, <strong>11</strong>5;<br />

HIS 102, HUM 230, 231; PHL 130, PSY 101, 220, 230,<br />

SOC 101, THL 105, a second theology course 200 level<br />

or above, foreign language, and a cross-cultural class.<br />

RN-BSN students who had integrated anatomy and<br />

physiology in their previous program of study will<br />

receive six credits toward the 10 credits required by<br />

the science and quantitative reasoning portion of the<br />

general education program.<br />

Business in Healthcare Minor - Open to Nursing<br />

Majors Only: 18 credits including nine required credits<br />

in BUS 101, 358 (or equivalent), and ECN 315, and an<br />

additional nine credits from ACC 210, BUS 240, 0351,<br />

352, 401, and PSY 310.<br />
