Field Box
Sturdy, spacious hardwood
box designed for use in the
field. This practical storage
unit facilitates field pinning
by featuring loose pin
hinges for easy removal of
the top portion, providing
unencumbered access
from all four sides.
Pinning bottom is polyethylene
foam. A separate,
loose sheet of foam for
placement between pinned
specimens and the box lid
keeps specimens securely in place. Multiple coats of clear
gloss acrylic, corner protectors, and positive latches on the
exterior furnish outdoor protection and durability. This highquality,
large box is also well suited for permanent storage of
collections not housed in cabinets, or in situations where glass
topped drawers or display cases are not desirable.

The 1042 series display cases offer an economical means for
effective display of specimens. They are made of double
strength cardboard frames covered with black embossed paper,
and are entirely lined with white paper. Cases have glass
tops, and 5/16" polyethylene foam pinning bottoms. They are
2-1/4" (58mm) deep outside), and 1-1/2" (38mm) deep inside.
Available in four sizes, including a small size case, perfect for
displaying a few choice specimens, a BioQuip exclusive.

Wood and glass cases are attractive units in which to display
specimens. They may be used in the home, office, or for classroom
exhibits. These cases are produced with the same careful
assembly methods found in BioQuip insect storage drawers.

Three sizes are listed, with clear gloss acrylic exterior finish.
They are also available unfinished for customers wishing to
apply an exterior finish or stain of their choice. Deft clear wood
finish is recommended as a suitable finish for these cases.
