BugDorm-1, Rearing and Observation Cage Field Vest<br />
Sturdy, low-cost cage is suitable both for classroom rearing<br />
and observation and for many applications by entomology<br />
professionals. Suggested uses for classroom,<br />
lab or field include rearing and viewing butterflies and<br />
moths, preying mantids, spiders, mosquitoes, agricultural<br />
pests, and small vertebrates such as lizards or snakes.<br />
Two or three cages can be stacked together creating a<br />
taller unit to accommodate a potted plant or other uses<br />
where a cage height of two or three feet is desirable.<br />
The cage is made of plastic-injected white polypropylene,<br />
nearly transparent with good visibility on all sides,<br />
top and bottom. Three side panels are 16 x 24 mesh<br />
plastic screen. The fourth side panel provides easy access<br />
from an opening 6-1/8" diameter with nylon sleeve.<br />
The cage is completely collapsible for convenient storage<br />
or cleaning. It takes only a few minutes to assemble<br />
or dismantle and no tools are required. It is a cube 11-3/<br />
4" (300 cm) and weighs only 2 lbs. It can be used in a<br />
temperature range of -15° to 85° C.<br />

Wide Field Binocular<br />
This economical binocular with<br />
lanthanum lenses and Bak4<br />
prisms is compact and light<br />
weight, yet it has great depth of<br />
field, giving brilliant images. It<br />
has a close focusing distance<br />
of 10 feet (3 meters), and its field<br />
of view is 330 feet (110 meters)<br />
at 1,000 yards. Its bright field and<br />
fully coated optics provide excellent<br />
definition.<br />
The binocular has central focusing<br />
with a knurled wheel. Eye relief is 8 mm.<br />
An adjustable right eyepiece is provided for any difference<br />
between the eyes.<br />
The binocular is only 3.5" (8.9 cm) high x 4-1/4" (10.8 cm)<br />
wide, and weighs only 7.5 oz. (212 grams). Armored with<br />
smooth rubber, the binocular has retractable rubber eyecups.<br />
A padded case with belt loop and lanyard is included.<br />

Field Collecting Bag<br />
Designed to carry jars, specimens, small tools, and your lunch,<br />
the field collecting bag is made of sturdy unbleached canvas<br />
with adjustable 2" cotton web shoulder strap. One side is equipped<br />
with five pockets for 1120P 4 oz. killing jars.The other side<br />
contains 12 pockets for 8808 8-dram vials. Jars and vials must<br />
be ordered separately. Inside of the bag is large enough to hold<br />
a notebook, pocket net and other miscellaneous objects. Bag<br />
