Laboratory Chill Table
Assembled at BioQuip’s plant, this widely used chill table
contains thermo-electric cooling devices and heat exchangers.
It was developed by Richard Fall for use in
laboratory environments when a cold surface larger than
BioQuip’s 1429 portable chill table (described on page
37) is required.
It is powered by 120V AC current. The vented aluminum
box is white powder-coated. Four metal safety screens
on the bottom protect fan intake areas. The chill surface
is clear anodized aluminum.
A control knob on the bottom of the power supply adjusts
voltage. This feature allows the user to set the chill table
surface at a slightly higher or lower temperature. An expanded
styrofoam cover insulates the chill surface.

Boom Arm Stereo Zoom Microscopes
High-quality boom arm stereo zoom microscopes provide the same
durability and best in optical clarity found in BioQuip’s 6600 Series
microscopes (see catalog page 24).
The added feature of boom arms allows the user to view and handle
specimens remote from the microscope stand, and without obstruction
under the microscope head.
The vertical boom arm permits the bottom of the microscope head
to be adjusted from
2-1/4" to 16-3/4" above the work surface. The horizontal boom arm
allows the microscope head to be placed up to 15" away from the base.
It is rotatable 360° around the vertical pole.
Rack and pinion focus and forward/reverse adjustments are located on
the horizontal boom. The heavy square base supporting the booms is
10" x 1-1/2" high. Due to its stability, no counter balance is required.
