Fiberoptic Light Sources<br />
Fiberoptic illumination has become a widely used light source in recent<br />
years, offering the advantages of being versatile, adjustable, intense,<br />
and cool. Both of the dependable units described below are quiet, with<br />
low vibration. They may be used independently from any angle, or can<br />
be interfaced directly to microscopes or other equipment. Their professional,<br />
high-quality optics, coupled with their moderate cost, make them<br />
excellent values. Both are made in the USA, backed by manufacturer's<br />
one-year warranty.<br />
150 Watt Heavy-Duty Light Source<br />
Self-supporting light guides provide electronically isolated white light. Chromeplated<br />
gooseneck channel sheathing allows precise placement of light output.<br />
The cool, intense light permits close, detailed work and avoids cooking or drying<br />
out specimens under examination. A fan cools the unit, allowing the light source<br />
to be used for extended periods of time.<br />
A rheostat controls light intensity from 20 to 150 watts to provide the exact level<br />
of illumination needed. Focusing lenses at the tips of the light channels allow<br />
variable light spot adjustment, or may be removed for diffused illumination. Two<br />
models are available.<br />

illumination, adjustable from 20 to 150 watts, with high degree of multidimensional<br />

20 Watt Fiberoptic Light Source<br />
Economical, all-metal design is ideal for light-duty use. It allows topographical<br />
viewing of specimens that cannot be trans-illuminated. Trans-illumination is also<br />
improved with this bright, cool, easily positionable halogen light. Goosneck sheathing<br />
offers obedient positioning. Two models are available.<br />

The VideoFlex is a creative video camera mounted on a totally flexible arm for<br />
absolute ease of operation. It is self-contained and compact with a sharp, detailed<br />
color image even in low light conditions. Simply plug the unit into an electrical outlet,<br />
connect it to a monitor, and adjust the focus.<br />
This versatile tool allows the user to maneuver the camera with one hand for<br />
ultimate precise positioning and focusing in virtually any presentation. The camera<br />
head can be moved to within one inch of an object (for maximum 40x magnification),<br />
directed through the eyepiece of a microscope, moved back to show a page<br />
of a book or sheet of paper, or out to infinity for full field view. The unit weighs 5.25<br />
