Professional Series Insect Nets
BioQuip 7
Net handles in the 7300 Professional Series are fabricated
from hard alloy aluminum tubing to provide a strong yet lightweight
insect collecting net. Most nets in this series weigh
less than one pound, complete with bag and net ring.
Materials and construction are designed to give years of dependable
service. All components are plated so that parts do
not rust or corrode. Nets are assembled quickly and easily
with "T" knob fastener. Five net ring sizes and a wide variety of
net bag styles are interchangeable for use with one handle.
Replacement parts also are available.
Handle:
$ Anodized thinwall aluminum tube; 3/4" O.D.
$ 3 foot or 5 foot length (5 ft. in two segments that screw together)
$ 4-1/2" red plastic grip
Net Ring:
$ Zinc plated spring steel, 1/4" x .062"
$ Fastened to handle with red "T" knob screw
Net Bag:
$ Polyester netting for aerial use, muslin or sailcloth for sweeping use
$ In 12", 15" or 18" diameter

Student Insect Net
A practical and inexpensive aerial net for students and
young collectors. The 18" smooth maple handle is 3/4"
in diameter. Net ring is sturdy galvanized steel, and is
attached to the handle with an aluminum ferrule. Net
bag is 12" diameter, made of polyester netting with muslin
reinforcing band around the top.

BioQuip's standard heavy
duty sweep net is used for
sweeping fields or in
heavy brush. Net is constructed
of sturdy, durable
materials. The smooth
hardwood handle is two
feet long and one inch in
diameter. The rigid, galvanized
steel net hoop is
15" diameter, fabricated
from 6 gauge material, and
held in place with aluminum
ferrule. The net bag
is made of rugged sailcloth
and banded at the
top with Dacron sail tape.
