Compound Microscopes
Monocular and binocular models of this full-feature, oil immersion microscope
are designed to meet the demand of biologists in universities and
laboratories. Superb resolution, clarity and precise, easy operation are incorporated

As described above. The head has two widefield 10x eyepieces with diopter
adjustments on both sides, and interpupillary adjustment from 53 mm to 72 mm.
The viewing head is inclined 30°, and rotates 360°.

6186 Microscope Stage
Stage facilitates examination and dissection of insects under
magnification. Specimen mounted on an insect pin is inserted
into a cork pad and rotated on a magnetized ball and socket joint.
The stage is made of metal filled plastic resins and is 1-7/8" high,
including cork platform; base diameter is 2-5/8".

BioQuip’s adaptation of an older design, this insect examination
stage allows a pinned specimen to be rotated on two independent
axes, while maintaining a relatively accurate focus under a
microscope. Top, bottom, sides and ends of the insect may be
observed without touching the pin or specimen. The stage base
is cast of metal filled plastic resin; the arm and knob are brass,
steel and latex. Dimensions: 2-13/16" x 1-7/16" x 1-11/16" high.

Microscopy
Dissecting Petri Dish/Microscope Stage
Polystyrene petri dish has optically clear silicone pinning surface
allowing light to be transmitted from below. It facilitates specimen
examination under a microscope or with the naked eye. The dish is
filled to a depth of 5 mm, and accepts insect pins easily. Pinholes
close after pins are removed, but eventually will obscure light passage
from underneath. Size is 100 mm x 15 mm high, with cover.

Cork Block Stage
Small, inexpensive insect examination stage consists of hardboard
bottom, with 3/16" cork overlay and #7 cork affixed to the surface. It
is a practical device for holding pinned insects during microscope
