Tomahawk Live Animal Traps
Tomahawk live traps are constructed of galvanized wire fabric
with heavy steel rod reinforcement where needed. Animals enter
these traps with more confidence because they can see
through in all directions. The automatic locking feature of the
safety door makes escape almost impossible. These rugged
traps are painted light brown so they may be used upon arrival
without waiting for the galvanization to weather.
Three folding traps and one rigid trap are listed below to meet a
variety of requirements. Small traps are used by public health
personnel to collect mice, rats and squirrels for blood sampling
or to determine presence of parasites. Larger traps are used by
biologists and animal regulation workers for monitoring or transfer
of skunks, cats and other mammals. The sparrow trap is
used by mosquito workers to collect blood samples in vector
research and control.

Machete & Sheath Set
Rugged machete has an excellent, high-carbon 18" (45.7 cm)
steel blade and plastic handle with four steel rivets providing
positive fastening to the blade. The black handle has a knob to
prevent slipping when in use and a hole for attaching a safety
thong. Overall length is 23" (58.4 cm); weight is 1 lb., 6 oz.
Sheath is made of tough Cordura with PVC backing to resist
moisture. It has seam binding on the finished edge, reinforced
with four eyelet-type rivets. A belt loop is provided.

Widely used, effective Havahart traps have proven their value
providing many years of use in the field. Animals are unharmed
and may be relocated and released if desired.
Trap doors at both ends are released simultaneously when the
baited treadle is tripped. Traps are made of sturdy wire mesh,
galvanized for resistance to rust and corrosion.
These traps are excellent for ecological or population studies.
They can be carried easily with one hand, and a carrying handle
folds flat for storage. They are shipped fully assembled and
ready for use.

Sherman Traps
Sherman folding rodent traps feature superior engineering. They
provide maximum economy of weight and space, and are ideal
for packing into remote areas. These live animal traps snap into
assembled position almost instantly, and are set simply by depressing
one door. For baiting or release, one side panel can be
opened by sliding back a hinge pin.
Traps are made of .020" or .025" aluminum, with stainless steel
springs and wires. They are about 1/2" thick when folded.
