The performance calcul<strong>at</strong>ions and analysis has been conducted in collabor<strong>at</strong>ion with Tim Macfarlane /<br />

Dewhurst and Martin Bechtold / GSD Harvard - Solid works 2008 (non-linear FE analysis). Torsion<br />

has been applied to assess the maximum twisting angle before failure.<br />

The maximum opening angle for the glass fins (6000 x 400 x 6 mm) figured approx. 50 degree. This<br />

results in a maximum porosity (rel<strong>at</strong>ion of open to total glass surface) of 56.3 % (Fig. 10,11).<br />
