4.4 Façade-integr<strong>at</strong>ed PV – Schüco ProSol TF<br />

Façade-integr<strong>at</strong>ed PV uses the large available surfaces of the <strong>building</strong> envelope to gener<strong>at</strong>e solar<br />

energy. The outstanding performance characteristics make it particularly suitable for use in façade, for<br />

example as a cladding panel in the spandrel area of the modernized façade.<br />

4.5 Building Autom<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

Schüco systems with mech<strong>at</strong>ronic fe<strong>at</strong>ures can be easily integr<strong>at</strong>ed in the existing <strong>building</strong><br />

management system and enable the users to control functions such as ventil<strong>at</strong>ion, solar shading, etc.<br />

The comfort of the <strong>building</strong> occupants is significantly improved after moderniz<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
