A study of the feeding ecology of the subspecies breeding on Greenland and in Canada, which spends the winter in the Wadden Sea and elsewhere in NW. Europe (Dick el al. 1976. Roselaar 1983). accordingly would be exireinely interesting: how do these Knot manage to survive under condiiions the Siberian Knot seem to be anxious to avoid (Piersma et al. 1991)?
