metadata element’s path by<br />

looking at metadata with the<br />

All columns that are listed in<br />

the Options dialog box by<br />

default appear in the Caption<br />

and Property lists in the Add<br />

Standard Column and Add<br />

Metadata Column dialog boxes.<br />

If you delete a default column,<br />

you can add it again later by<br />

choosing its caption or name<br />

from either the Caption or<br />

Property dropdown lists.<br />

Changing the order of<br />

columns<br />

Because you can’t move columns in<br />

Details view, you must control the<br />

order in which they appear in the<br />

Options dialog box. Columns will<br />

appear in order from the first<br />

standard column to the last<br />

metadata column in the list.<br />

Rearranging columns<br />

1. Click the Tools menu and<br />

click Options.<br />

2. Click the Contents tab.<br />

3. Click the property or<br />

metadata column whose<br />

position you want to change<br />

in the list.<br />

4. Click the Up and Down<br />

arrows to change the<br />

column’s position.<br />

5. Click OK.<br />

Removing columns<br />

1. Click the Tools menu and<br />

click Options.<br />

2. Click the Contents tab.<br />

3. Click the column that you<br />

want to remove from the list.<br />

4. Click Remove.<br />

The column no longer<br />

appears in the list.<br />

5. Click OK.<br />
