Adding a redefined<br />

attribute<br />

1. Right-click the coverage<br />

feature class or INFO table to<br />

which you want to add a<br />

redefined attribute and click<br />

Properties.<br />

2. Click the Items tab.<br />

3. Under Item Name, click an<br />

attribute that is not a redefined<br />

attribute or a pseudo<br />

item. For redefined attributes,<br />

Yes appears in the Redefined<br />

column. For pseudo items,<br />

N/A appears under Column,<br />

to the left of the attribute’s<br />

name.<br />

4. Click Add.<br />

5. Click next to Redefined, click<br />

the dropdown arrow, and<br />

click Yes.<br />

6. Click next to Column and<br />

type the starting position for<br />

the redefined attribute.<br />

properties, follow steps 6<br />

through 10 for ‘Adding a new<br />

attribute’.<br />

8. Click OK.<br />

changes.<br />

10. Click OK.<br />
