REAR AXLE AND TORSION TUBE 17
Not used on 341-B and 328
Wire Boot
To disconnect torsion tube remove
wire for boot and four cap screws
(6 used on 341-B and 328) \
Nuts on strut rods. Adjust to align torsion
tube with drive shaft. (See Fig. 3)
Drive shaft
Splined end sliding fit on pinion shaft

To remove pin, drill out; use
new pin and rivet both ends

Rear axle and torsion tube removed, torsion tube pointing straight up
A and B when rear face of housing is down
must equal A and B when front face is down
