Extremely graceful, long, low-slung lines are achieved by a body -2 3 .i
inches lower to the ground than the previous year's design, and by a 140-inch
wheelbase which permits of genuine balance, harmony, and proportion.
Cadillac body designers have realized the public demand for a really lowslung
car—a demand arising not alone through the dictates of fashion but
also because a low center of gravity gives excellent stability and an added
sense of security—and have achieved a series of models of distinction and
luxury unapproached before.
In the following pages are illustrated and described some of the outstanding
mechanical features, refinements and details of body construction of the
New Cadillac.
