world before New Thought, or any of the various cults<br />

now in vogue were thought of, we marvel at the wisdom<br />

of the man.<br />

When we consider that we are now in the<br />

thirtieth edition of <strong>Bible</strong> <strong>Review</strong>, and what the state of<br />

the minds of the people were thirty years ago, so far as<br />

advancement in any freedom of religious thought, we can<br />

say verily the truths that he has promulgated have leavened<br />

the whole lump.<br />

When we consider that there was no work in existence,<br />

such as "Solar Biology;" that it is an entirely new science<br />

given to the world to help men to know themselves; that<br />

it is now used thruout the world by astrologers, physicians,<br />

teachers, ministers, and parents; that "Practical<br />

Methods to Insure Success "has given directions for attaining<br />

success in the things of this world, and "yet to<br />

those who want to reach the highest goal of human attainment,<br />

these methods are equally essential, because<br />

they are methods leading to <strong>com</strong>pliance with nature's<br />

laws, and therefore Divine laws;" that"The Seven Creative<br />

Principles" portray amarvelous insight into the workings<br />

of all nature-the cause side of all life; that "The<br />

Goal of Life" is so far in advance of the average mind<br />

of man,<br />

that it will take a long time for the world at<br />

large to know that it has such knowledge within reach;<br />

that if all his other writings, too numerous to mention,<br />

were brought together and reviewed, the scholars of the<br />

world would exclaim, "How knoweth this man letters?"<br />

Altho we of the Fraternity are greatly bereaved over<br />

the loss of our elder Brother, yet we know that our loss<br />

is not a personal loss in the sense that such bereavements<br />

usually are. For he gave himself to the world, and that<br />

loss touches all whom the spirit of truth has touched. The<br />

loss is as if a great light had gone out of the world, for
