Q' stractive terms says, "He that dwelleth in<br />

'P 5' God dwelleth in love, for God is love."<br />

§'***`f**`f*k It seems to bring us into nearer relationship<br />

with our Father to think of him according to his attributes.<br />

If I say "I dwell in God," I am liable, because<br />

of wrong conceptions, to limit him or to think of him as<br />

a great king far away in the skies. sitting aloof from<br />

our minute affairs. But when I say "I dwell in love," he<br />

at once appears above, beneath, and around me, yea even<br />

within me, and the words of the poet can best express<br />

my feelings:<br />

"Worlds of extatic Glory<br />

Love opens to our view,<br />

Where saints and angels truly<br />

Find joys forever new."<br />

The soul is at once made conscious of having entered<br />

a vast and unexplored domain,<br />

"A shoreless sea of bliss."<br />

0 Love Divine! to what can it be likened? It is a<br />

never-ending song, an unbounded treasure, a consuming<br />

fire, before which no error or sin can stand. It is a<br />

light which goeth not out, the source of all faith and<br />

omnipotent power, a sure and safe retreat in which the<br />

soul can ever repose. When I consider the work of his<br />

hands, my soul is borne away far above this world of
