But when I said "yes,"<br />

"yes" implied a great deal.<br />

I knew that that<br />

In the first place we are <strong>com</strong>pelled to grant others the<br />

right to their own opinions, for no one has the power to<br />

stop thought. We may imprison aperson within four<br />

walls, but that does not stop thought; for when the body<br />

is quiet thought is much more active. We may put the<br />

person in stocks, but that does not stop thought, for intensity<br />

of thought is often increased by bodily afiliction.<br />

So it goes without saying, that all have a right to their<br />

own opinions, for who can stop them?<br />

"And I have a right to express those opinions," was<br />

the next claim.<br />

In this day of free speach, free press,<br />

free everything we might say, we said, "Yes;" because<br />

we knew that that person who made this claim had<br />

nothing in mind but what was right and just.<br />

But there is no one who has gone very far on the<br />

higher spiritual path but who will see the fallacy of this<br />

teaching, and this in our humble way, we will try to explain.<br />

As a person proceeds on the higher path, he<br />

learns new truths; truths perhaps never formulated before,<br />

he sees new meanings in old truths, his eyes are<br />

opened, and he sees what he could not see before tho it
