one often finds that he must pay to the one that he cares<br />

little or nothing. for, one who has rendered no service<br />

to him, and has no claims upon him except the claim<br />

of brotherly love.<br />

And the service that one is often<br />

called to render to another has seldom any bearing on<br />

services that he has received. This little rhyme expresses<br />

the same thought:<br />

Pass it on.<br />

It was not intended for you alone,<br />

Pass it on."<br />

The man in the Scriptures who had only one talent lost<br />

Those who receive<br />

it because he refused to pass it on.<br />

benefits of any name or nature, and do not pass them on<br />

dwarf their own souls. After all, what greater benefit<br />

can we secure to ourselves than to help others. Help others<br />

to pass on the love and the sunshine. For we grow<br />

by giving, not by withholding. As Dr. Richberg has so<br />

ably put it in one of her articles in BIBLE REVIEW, "The<br />

intent. to serve rightly our fellow beings, while we live<br />

up to the best we know, broadens our vision, and sharpens<br />

our hearing." When we cease to have an interest<br />

and love for our fellow beings, we begin to die, herein<br />

is embodied a great law, that as long as anything is of<br />

use<br />

it lives, but as soon as anything, plant, animal, or<br />

person ceases to be of use, it begins to die.<br />

Therefore,<br />

as long as we are of use in the world, that whereby we<br />

live from will be furnished us.<br />

For God will see to it<br />

that those who are willing to render timely aid to another,<br />

will not want in time of need. Therefore do not<br />

be afraid to cast your bread upon the water, for you<br />

shall find after many days, altho you may never see the<br />

hungry one that gets your bread, be assured that he gets<br />

it, and that you will receive its equivalent, it may be in
