largely deprived.
This defect, however, can be compensated by
DEEP BREATHING,
accompanied as far as possible bya fruit diet, which
adds both to the quantity and quality of the lymph, and
this makes up to a great extent for the lack of bodily
exercise, which is the bane of sedentary occupations.
It is possible, moreover, to gain by a life of perfect
purity such a command over the bodily functions as to
enable us to accelerate the lymphatic circulation at will,
and so to maintain the body continually in a state of perfect
health.
