"I have a right to my own opinions," is true on both<br />

planes, "as below so above." These new and altered<br />

opinions one gains in going over the higher path, one<br />

certainly has a right to; for the one who has them has<br />

earned them. No one has attained any progress on that<br />

road but what he has earned it; for there is no cheating<br />

where our Heavenly Father is the Teacher; because he<br />

gives to every man according to his labor.<br />

"And I have a right to express those opinions." In<br />

Every parent with even<br />

a moderate amount of wisdom knows that if he were so<br />

to do that he would often be the means of leading the<br />

child astray. To give a child knowledge before he has<br />

attained the maturity to grasp it, would be doing the<br />

child an injury. It would only befuddle his brain and<br />

led him on the wrong track. If this is a truth on the<br />

plane regarding secular knowledge, how does it apply on<br />

the higher plane? As truths on the higher plane are more<br />

powerful both for destruction and construction, if we express<br />

or give out truths before people are ready for them,<br />

we are doing harm, and they will turn again and rend<br />

the sender.<br />

This is the reason that the Christ gave his<br />

disciples such careful instructions on this point, for the<br />

greatest rending that a person can have is thru a perverted<br />

truth. There is probably no one who has started<br />

on the road, who has not at some time or other made this<br />

mistake of giving out truths to those who were not ready<br />

to receive them.<br />

One of the greatest sorrows that our beloved Brother<br />

Butler had was that he could not give out all the truths
